EGYPTIAN GOLD FIGURINE OF RECUMBENT RAM Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A gold figurine of a recumbent ram resting on a rectangular base. The animal has a long muzzle, pointed ears and curved, ridged horns, with the legs folded beneath the body. Two parallel suspension channels pierce the figure longitudinally. Size: 17mm x 23mm; Weight: 14.4g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960sÐ2000. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
