RARE EGYPTIAN GOLD MASK Third Intermediate Period to Late Period, Ca. 1069 - 332 BC. A gold mask with almond-shaped eyes beneath arched brows, a straight nose and a closed mouth with full lips. The cheeks taper towards a rounded chin, and projecting ears flank the face. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number 26.7.1412, 26.7.1427. Size: 27mm x 29mm; Weight: 4g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960sÐ2000.
