A spectacular pair of biforated openings or Neo-Gothic balusters, Venice, Italy, 19th century Hand-carved and sculpted from Asiago Biancone marble. Dimensions: 76 × 67 × 15 cm each. Approximate weight: 90 kg each. A magnificent pair of double-fronted clerestory windows crafted from Asiago Biancone marble, designed in an elegant Neo-Gothic style and executed entirely by hand with extraordinary sculptural quality. Particularly noteworthy are the finely carved, twisted Solomonic columns and the delicate architectural ornamentation, elements that demonstrate the workshop’s mastery and lend the ensemble a remarkable monumental presence. In addition to their artistic value, these pieces offer great decorative versatility, serving as bases for a table with a glass or marble top, as balustrades or room dividers both indoors and outdoors, or even as architectural elements attached to a wall to function as a window or room partition.
