JOSÉ PINAZO MARTÍNEZ (Rome, 1879 – Godella, Valencia, 1933) – Gypsy Woman Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 100 × 113 cm. Signed in the lower left-hand corner. This significant work by José Pinazo Martínez depicts a young Gypsy woman seated in a landscape, surrounded by traditional elements of Mediterranean folk culture, such as a basket overflowing with fruit, poultry and a Valencian ceramic jug.
