Description
FALCONRY HOODS
Displayed in an antique globe.
Height: 47 cm, diameter: 19 cm.
Note
The hood conceals the bird from view whilst it is resting or waiting. The hooded bird can then preen its plumage or sleep.
When the falconer removes the hood, the bird is expected to take flight.
