2446. Circa 1960. Steel case signed. Black dial with
three sub-counters, luminescent dots and hands.
Signed hand-wound mechanical movement.
Diameter: approx. 39 mm. Rice grain strap with
folding clasp, signed and hallmarked "Gay Frères",

The name Autavia is a contraction of the words "automobile" and "aviation". This line was originally launched by Heuer
for on-board chronographs for cars. It was not until 1962 that Jack Heuer decided to relaunch the model as a wristwatch.
