[LEMARIÉ (Henry)]. PERRAULT (Charles). Sleeping Beauty. Paris, Jean Porson, 1948. In-8, 41 pp, [7] pp, with the publisher’s printed folders for the text and for each set of illustrations, all housed in the publisher’s printed slipcase. Limited edition of 2,000 copies on Rives vellum paper; this is one of 30 from the first print run, comprising two sets of pre-letter illustrations in black and colour, a breakdown of the 23 woodcuts for one plate and two original drawings, one in black and the other in colour. Edition illustrated by Henry Lemarié. André Marliat engraved the 800 woodcuts required, whilst Raymond Jacquet oversaw the printing. Work on the book began in 1942, during the war, and was completed in 1948. Also included: CARRÉ (Léon, ill.), MICHAUT (Gustave). *Aucassin and Nicolette*. Paris, Piazza, 1929.
