A six-panel folding screen in polychrome and gold lacquered wood, decorated with a landscape of stylised rice fields and mountains. Signed lower left and dated 1942 in Roman numerals. Overall dimensions: 117.7 x 161 cm. Dimensions of each panel: 117.7 x 26.5 cm. (Minor losses, retouched with gouache and repainted). Bibliography: a variant of this panel, dated 1943, appeared at Christie’s Hong Kong in 2018.
