A 5-tien Kim Tien coin named ‘Phi Long’ (flying dragon), in 800°/°° gold-plated silver, in the sapèque style, from the reign of Bao Dai.
Obverse decorated with a finely engraved five-clawed dragon; reverse bearing the inscription ‘Bao Dai Thong Bao’.
Probably French in manufacture, with no visible hallmark.
