Description
‘Vieux Paris’ guitar, made around 1810, by an anonymous maker. Solid flanks and back in curly maple; ebony veneer on the neck, headstock, fingerboard and purfling; spruce top; chevron motifs in mother-of-pearl around the edge of the top and the soundhole. Nut width: 45 mm; scale length: 638 mm. One non-original peg; original bridge and tailpieces. A crack in the top. In good overall condition and well preserved. This instrument is over 100 years old.
