A fine example of an orpharion with eight choirs and one chanterelle, with metal strings, made in the 16th-century style by Gesina LIEDMEIER in the Netherlands in 1993. It features a female head with curly hair. Back with alternating strips of walnut and flamed maple; neck, ribs and back made of flamed maple; spruce top with a carved, inlaid soundhole. Total length: 103 cm. A wormhole on the neck; the back is slightly detached; a few frets are misaligned. In good overall condition, with a lovely patina
