A Gibson-brand mandolin, bearing its original label affixed to the inside and on the back, no. 125832, with the ‘FON’ number stamped on the back (45042), model F12, made circa 1977, made in the USA, Sunburst finish. Back and sides re-varnished; purfling on the back restored; colour and varnish touched up on the sides and back following wear and the replacement of the purfling. Strung and ready to play. Signs of wear, minor impact marks, small crack on the back. In very good playing condition. Comes in a non-original case.
