Description
VOX amplifier head, model AC100, serial number 02111, manufactured in England around 1967. In good overall condition; some capacitors and diodes have been replaced, whilst the original high-voltage filter capacitors are still in place. The chassis is marked SER No. C2306. Fitted with a mix of vintage and modern valves, including four TAD EL34-STR valves. Comes with a later Solid State/Super Foundation Bass baffle, serial no. 093. Powers up and operates, but with crackling and humming; cleaning, checking and servicing required. Signs of wear. Tolex damaged in places, with a patina. The Bulgin sockets have been replaced with cables.
