Violin bow by Mathias Théophile Auguste BARBÉ, made circa 1880-1885, signed "A Barbé", in pernambuco wood, pre-convention 2007, mounted nickel silver. 57g2. Hits on the head side, wear on the frog thumb, cracks on the button. Good condition. Appears in the book "L'Archet", volume III, page 23, n°2. This instrument is more than 100 years old (EOUZ-BRA-5871)
This bow is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from the Cabinet d'Archetiers Experts Jf Raffin Successeurs.
