Violin bow by Nicolas SIMON (known as SIMON Fr), made around 1850, signed "Simon Fr", in pernambuco wood, pre-convention 2007, silver mounted. 53g6, without fittings. Small blow on the front of the head, stick knots, slightly damaged slide, split frog and button. Good condition. Appears in the book "L'Archet, tome II, page 160, n°4". This instrument is more than 100 years old (EOUZ-BYZ-4337)
This bow is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from the Cabinet d'Archetiers Experts Jf Raffin Successeurs.
