Violin bow by Nicolas Pierre TOURTE, made circa 1750-1760, pernambuco wood frog and stick, pre-convention 2007. 45g8. Chips in the headjoint, chips in the back of the stick, chips in the frog, split button. Good condition. Appears in the book "L'Archet", volume I, page 53, n°2. This instrument is more than 100 years old (EOUZ-BYS-4195)
This bow is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from the Cabinet d'Archetiers Experts Jf Raffin Successeurs.
