Violin bow by Claude Auguste THOMASSIN, made around 1910, signed "C. Thomassin à Paris", in pernambuco wood, pre-convention 2007, mounted nickel silver. 49g2, without wick or fittings. Hits on top of head, neck and ramrod, slight wear on back of ramrod and underlay, ebony chip on frog, slide a little deformed. Good condition. This instrument is more than 100 years old (EOUZ-CLR-5687) This bow is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from the Cabinet d'Archetiers Experts Jf Raffin Successeurs. Bow from the Jean-François RAFFIN collection Violin bow by Claude Auguste THOMASSIN, made around 1910, signed "C. Thomassin à Paris," in pernambuco wood, pre-2007 convention, mounted in nickel-silver. 49g2, without hair or wrapping. Scratches on the top of the head, collar, and stick; slight wear at the rear of the stick and under the wrapping; an ebony chip to the frog; the slide is slightly warped. Good condition.
