Description
Interesting Nicolas Léonard TOURTE violin bow, made circa 1780, in pernambuco wood, pre-convention 2007, bone button. Length 714mm. 41g6, without wick or fittings. Scratches on the headstock side, baguette knocks, later extended back mortise, split and chipped frog, split knob. Good condition. This instrument is more than 100 years old (CXTY-BZD-1837). This bow is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from the Cabinet d'Archetiers Experts Jf Raffin Successeurs. Interesting violin bow by Nicolas Léonard TOURTE, made around 1780, in pernambuco wood, pre-2007 convention, bone button. Length 714mm. 41g6, without hair or wrapping. Slight scratching on the side of the head, stick dents, rear mortise lengthened at a later date, frog chip, split in the button. Good condition. This instrument is more than 100 years old (CXTY-BZD-1837). This bow comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Expert Bowmakers' Firm Jf Raffin Successeurs upon request.
