Description
François Jude GAULARD violin bow stick, made circa 1830, in pernambuco wood, pre-convention 2007, frog and button by Etienne PAJEOT, silver mounted. 50g, without wick or fittings. Slight chip on headstock side, thumb wear, underlay and back stick with cracks, stick knot, trace of mortise, ebony chips on frog, button cracks and loose back ferrules. Good condition. This instrument is more than 100 years old (EAXP-BRQ-1670).
This bow is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from the Cabinet d'Archetiers Experts Jf Raffin Successeurs.
