Violin bow by François Xavier TOURTE, made circa 1765-1770, in pernambuco wood, pre-convention 2007, ivory knob. 46g6. Nose and head side chips. Very good condition. Appears in the book " L'Archet,Révolutionnaire (1700-1800)", tome 1, page 36, n°17 . This instrument is more than 100 years old (EOUZ-CEC-4853). This bow is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from the Cabinet d'Archetiers Experts Jf Raffin Successeurs.
