First illustrated edition featuring 60 woodcut sketches and drawings within the text and 10 original etchings as inserts by Georges Jeanniot. A print run of only 300 copies; this is one of the 40 numbered on vellum with a triple set of etchings. A few foxing spots, otherwise a very fine copy with wide margins, perfectly bound by Marcelin Lortic.
