Hohe Vase mit Distel-Dekor "Chardons de Lorraine" von Daum Frères Auf rundem, ausschwingendem Fuß beidseitig abgeplattete Keulenform. Überfangglas, farblos und violett. Geätzter, gravierter und vergoldeter Dekor aus blühenden Lothringer Disteln und Lothringer Kreuzen (als patriotische Symbole der Widerstandskraft gegen die deutsche Annexion) auf eisglasartig rau ausgeätztem Grund. Sign. "Daum Nancy" mit Lothringer Kreuz in Gold gemalt. H. 30,5 cm. A French Art Nouveau cameo glass vase with acid-etched, engraved and gilt decor of thistles and Crosses of Lorraine.
