Description
A silver 800‰ and white gold 750‰ necklace, the central falling motif with stylised foliate and floral decoration adorned with a cushion-cut Burmese ruby weighing approximately 1.70 carats, surrounded and highlighted by old-cut diamonds, the whole held by a filed forçat link chain. Transformations, partly late 19th century, later chain. Length: 39cm. Pendant length: 3.8cm. P. Gross weight: 10.9g. (Chips, slight cracks). Accompanied by a gemological analysis report from the LFG (Laboratoire français de Gemmologie) dated 28 September 2023 (n°404249) stating : Ruby (Natural corundum). Dimensions: 8.3x7.1x3.1mm approx. Colour: Bright red, slightly purple. Treatment: NTE - No thermal modification observed. Geographical origin: Myanmar (Burma).
