Description
French work from the 1910s
Delicate 950‰ platinum and 750‰ white gold band ring centred on an oval cabochon sapphire shouldered with calibrated sapphires, lines of old-cut diamonds to the surround and in a pearl closed setting to the shoulder.
Numbered "3389".
Diamond hallmark of the Henri KAUFMANN workshop.
Finger size: 51. Width: 0.8 cm.
P. Gross weight: 3.1 g.
(A few small chips, slight deformations to the ring).
The delicacy of this ring from the 1910s is reminiscent of the models created by Cartier in the transitional period between the Belle Epoque and the beginnings of Art Deco.
