Secret watches enjoyed particular popularity in the 1950s. Our pocket watch follows in this tradition, with exquisite refinement. Its ingenious mechanism was developed by Maurice Worms. A watchmaker and jeweller in Paris, he registered this model in 1954 (No. 50333).Available in a variety of finishes, which could draw upon the talents and expertise of other workshops – such as Brun’s, which is particularly renowned for its work in gold braiding and basket-weaving – our watch was produced by French and international jewellery houses, such as Sterlé and Tiffany & Co. These watches also serve as a bridge between the worlds of jewellery and watchmaking, drawing on the expertise of leading watchmaking houses such as Universal Genève.
