NICOLAES DE BRUYN (1571–1656) AFTER HENDRIK GOLTZIUS (1558–1617) The Carrying of the Cross by Jesus Christ. Contemporary engraving dating from around 1596–1598 and forming part of a larger series entitled ‘The Passion of Christ’, generally comprising twelve scenes.
