Description
LOUIS PASTOUR (1876–1948) Mediterranean Boats with Lateen Sails Oil on canvas, signed lower right Dimensions: 48 x 35 cm - A captivating figure in French painting of the first half of the 20th century, Louis Pastour devoted the bulk of his work to celebrating the Mediterranean: its bustling harbours, its fishing boats with colourful sails, its shimmering waters and its incomparable light.
