A perfume bottle or snuff box in the shape of a ‘pouch’, made of carved ivory imitating a buckled satchel; the decoration, in slight relief, depicts a central strap and its fastening buckle; Asian or European work, circa 1900. And a small circular box or pocket pomander made of ivory, entirely openwork and carved with a design of plant scrolls, volutes and lingzhi mushroom heads; China, 19th or 20th century.
