Description
RARE HEART-SHAPED SLICE OF PETRIFIED WOOD
A substantial cross-section of a fossilised tree trunk, distinguished by a natural silhouette reminiscent of a heart. This museum-quality specimen features a fully polished surface that reveals mineralisation of rare complexity. The outer structure has retained the rough, textured appearance of the original bark. Probably from Arizona, USA (Chinle Formation). Upper Triassic period (approximately 200 to 220 million years ago)
Dimensions: approx. 5 x 39 x 44.5 cm (h.)
