Wool pile on a cotton backing.
Delicate trees, their branches covered in multicoloured flowers and their foliage forming a mihrab against an ivory background, provide a refuge for a variety of wildlife (variegated birds, deer and monkeys). The main border features an interlaced pattern of floral scrolls, embellished with perched birds. It is flanked by two sky-blue sub-borders with small flowers and birds, as well as two further ivory sub-borders with garlands of foliage. A work of great poetic beauty.
