Wool pile on a cotton backing.
An oblong octagonal ivory field, covered with superb blooming corollas set against an intricate network of curling plant stems, features a brick-coloured, multi-lobed, cruciform floral medallion. Four navy-blue spandrels, adorned with plant motifs and crowned with gold, frame the composition. The main brick-coloured border, adorned with undulating multicoloured floral garlands, is flanked by two sky-blue counter-borders featuring garlands of foliage and accented with small flowers and broken ribbons. Great elegance.
