Wool pile on a cotton backing.
An ivory field features a refined botanical design, comprising an interlacing pattern of foliage supporting large corollas, star-shaped flowers and curved botehs. This design is reminiscent of the Mahal-Ziegler carpets, renowned for over a century. A wide main border featuring a delicate floral garland, flanked by four ruby and old gold counter-borders with garlands of small flowers. An outer border with small, two-tone positive/negative crenellation. A beautiful pastel ensemble.
