A wide, oblong, hexagonal cherry-coloured border, crocheted and serrated, covered with networks of Median stars, insect-like forms, small flowers and ‘S’ shapes, supports a central crocheted, polychrome medallion featuring stylised insect-like forms. The anthracite field, covered with small polychrome symbols, features four ivory-coloured, crocheted, flamboyant hexagonal shapes in the form of insects, which serve as spandrels. The frame comprises six apricot, anthracite, ivory and cherry-coloured borders featuring geometric plant motifs. A beautiful colour palette and fine ethnological design.
