Wool pile on a cotton backing.
A chestnut-coloured field features large, multi-lobed, multicoloured floral corollas arranged in a staggered pattern, interspersed with floral compositions featuring scroll-like foliage. Together, these form a figurative pattern. A wide ivory border features a succession of open, polychrome corollas. Six counter-borders complete the frame; they are all adorned with garlands of small flowers. Chestnut-coloured braid. Very elegant.
