Circa 1960.
Wool velour on a cotton backing.
A central polychrome rosette-shaped medallion, surrounded by small flowering stems and adorned with ‘scallop shells’
is set against an ivory field, poly-lobed and cruciform,
with a pearl-grey border edged in bottle green.
It is embellished with multicoloured vases of flowers, some of which are set within ‘niches’.
