Silk velvet on a silk ground.
Against a navy blue background, eleven Chinese deities stand out, floating on clouds. They are all dressed in their finest, colourful finery. Ribboned compositions hang above them. Various Chinese characters are inscribed on the carpet: ‘Flourishing prosperity for thousands of years and long life’, along with the artist’s red seal. A beautiful colour palette and unusual design.
