Description
Thomas Verny ‘Palavas-les-Flots’
Pastel on cardboard, 40 × 50 cm
Thomas Verny, a pupil of Vincent Bioulès, uses pastel on cardboard to capture moments of light within
simplified compositions. All this is achieved in small formats which take on a new dimension when displayed in a series. The effect is captivating
from the very first glance, but above all because it awakens us to the poetic reality of an everyday landscape that we do not always know how to see.
