Description
Pamelito
Acrylic, spray paint & marker on canvas
January 2026
His work features a recurring character,
PAMELITO, a small cactus with eyes but no face.
Inspired by mini cacti, they come in
several archetypal forms, are all different, and have
eyes looking in every direction. Even without
a mouth, they are very expressive and funny. The work
focuses on the principle of accumulating these small subjects
and the idea of a crowd, where all the characters are unique. By
observing each cactus, one can discern the state of mind
hidden behind their eyes, making them likeable and
even a little prickly, ultimately.
