René Lalique for Tokalon’s ‘Pétalia’ – (1925) An exceptional and rare bottle in clear, moulded, pressed and frosted glass with a cylindrical cross-section; its body is medallion-shaped with a central flat section; one side features a moulded decoration of a Pierrot’s head against a radiating background, inscribed on its rim with ‘Pétalia’, with a fluted neck, topped by a patinated disc stopper inscribed ‘Tokalon – Paris - France’ in the glass, and numbered. Model designed and produced by René Lalique, signed in the glass. H: 10 cm. Listed on page 949 – ‘Perfume Bottles’ section – F. Marcilhac catalogue raisonné, 2011.
