Burning mark: ‘CP’ crowned with an anchor, formerly belonging to the Duke of Choiseul and subsequently to the Duke of Penthièvre at the Château de Chanteloup.
Transitional period.
Beautiful ornamentation of chiselled and gilded bronze, such as foliage-decorated handles with shells, lock plates and foliage-decorated feet.
Top in breccia marble, surrounded by an openwork moulding.
