ALCOVE CLOCK in chiselled and gilded bronze, decorated with a dragon emerging from clouds and foliage, surmounted by a putto. The circular enamelled dial features Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals and a railway-track minute scale.
Movement signed ‘Fieffe à Paris’, with a pull-out chime mechanism. The pull-string handle is shaped like a baluster vase with twisted gadroons.
