François REIZELL, who qualified as a master craftsman in 1764,
A mahogany chest of drawers with moulded mahogany veneer, carved with panels decorated in ‘Martin’ varnish imitating Chinese landscape lacquerwork. It opens to reveal three drawers separated by cross-bars. The rounded, fluted and serrated side panels rest on tapered legs.
Ornamentation features chiselled bronze details such as foliage frames, lock plates and footplates.
