Isfahan, in wool velvet on a silk ground, decorated with a polychrome scroll pattern of slender palmette stems, stylised flowers and foliage, adorned with a large central medallion in orange-brick, turquoise and ivory in the shape of a stylised diamond, and four Prussian blue spandrels decorated with a mosaic of finely drawn flowers.
Main ruby-coloured border decorated with rows of floral cartouches and multicoloured stylised diamond-shaped bulbs.
