GUERIDON
Circular in shape, made of moulded, carved and gilded wood, with rich decoration featuring garlands, scrolls, pine cones and ribboned rushes, on a tripod base with clogs. The upper section is adorned with antique-style foliage scrolls against an orange background. The drop-down top is decorated with a scene painted by Lucien SIMONNET (1849–1926) depicting cupids. The drop-down lid reveals a space lined with green fabric.
