Carlo PITTARA (1836–1890) / Giuseppe MASSUERO (1829–1900) / Casimiro TEJA (1830–1897) To His Royal Highness the Prince of Piedmont, The Carnival Festivities Committee, Turin, 1860 An album comprising a collection of thirteen drawings dedicated to the Turin Carnival celebrations of 1860, including ten drawings for the ‘Feste diurne’ and three drawings on bluish paper for the ‘Feste notturne’, executed in pencil, watercolour and gouache by Carlo Pittara and Giuseppe Massuero, depicting carnival floats and scenes. Four introductory pages complete the collection, executed in pencil, watercolour and gouache by Casimiro Teja. All the drawings are signed. Dimensions: approx. 27 × 37.5 cm Red percaline binding, with the title in gold lettering on the spine. (drawings mounted onto the pages of the album)
