Charles DELHOMMEAU (1883–1970) ‘Panther on the prowl’ A rare and beautiful bronze cast, with a nuanced dark brown patina Sand-cast by Ferdinand Barbedienne, possibly serving as the master model for subsequent editions, cast using the lost-wax method by Leblanc-Barbedienne. According to the Leblanc-Barbedienne archives, only four models were cast using the lost-wax process. Bears the artist’s signature on the rock at the rear and the mark ‘F.
