A multifaceted Swiss artist, Valérie Favre is both an actress and a painter. She first entered the theatre world by designing stage sets, before becoming an actress. In the mid-1980s, she devoted herself entirely to painting. Having settled in Berlin in 1998, she developed a distinctive body of work there, drawing on her multifaceted artistic background.
This 1989 composition can be linked to her early days as a theatre set designer.
