Louis Jammes (born 1958) Untitled 1988 Silver print on paper, signed and dated in the bottom right-hand corner 32 x 32 cm Condition report: Framed with a mat, visible dimensions A product of the Figuration Libre movement, Louis Jammes photographed Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Robert Combas and Andy Warhol in the 1980s, placing them in settings he created himself, evoking the world of their art. At the time, he was represented by the Yvon Lambert gallery. He went on to create the ‘Bag People’ portraits in Barbès and around the world: Chernobyl, Sarajevo, Gaza, Cairo, Fukushima, etc. He is now represented by the Rabouan Moussion gallery in Paris.
