Sale catalogue of the collections of the famous Dutch collector; sale organised by Jeronimo de Vries, Albert Brondgeest and Engelbert Michel Engelberts, at the late collector’s residence on the Heerengracht.
Signature on the title page by the art dealer Johann Andreas Börner (1785–1862) of Nuremberg, and on the reverse of the cover, this autograph note signed by Georg Ernst Harzen (1790–1863), a dealer and collector from Hamburg (who bequeathed his collection to the Hamburger Kunsthalle): ‘Geschenk von Freunde E. Harzen in Hamburg 25 Febr[uar] 1822’.
