In-4 leaves with black illustrated cover and publisher's slipcase - [3 ff.], 5, 236 pp, [2 ff. notes, 2 ff. table of illustrations, justification]. Illustrated with 71 original etchings (cover vignette, frontispiece, 23 h-t, 46 in-t) and 23 lettrines drawn and engraved by Jouas. Edition of 146 copies, this one of 10 on Japon Impérial (after 1 unique copy), including an original coloured pencil drawing by Jouas (Rue Royale, hotel des fermes, 1919, signed 1930), three states of the etchings on Japon, including one state of the pure etching, a suite of the 71 etchings on parchment in third state and 2 crossed-out copperplates. A subscription form illustrated with an engraving (the cathedral) is enclosed.
